General Terms & Conditions (GTC) – GemNails
1. Scope of Application
These General Terms & Conditions govern all services and agreements between GemNails (hereinafter “the Studio”) and its clients. By booking an appointment, purchasing a voucher, or otherwise making use of our services, clients acknowledge and accept these GTC.
2. Appointments & Cancellations
- Appointments may be arranged at the Studio, by telephone, by message, or via our official online channels.
- Every confirmed booking is binding.
- Cancellations must be made no later than 24 hours before the appointment.
- Late cancellations or no-shows:
- First occurrence: reminder
- Second occurrence: cancellation fee of 30% of the service price
- Further occurrences: the Studio may refuse future appointments
- In the event of late arrival, the treatment time may be shortened to respect subsequent clients’ bookings.
3. Prices & Payment
- The official price list is available at the Studio and on our website.
- Prices are subject to change at any time; however, the price confirmed at the time of booking remains valid.
- Payment is due immediately after the service. Accepted methods: cash, Twint, credit card, or valid voucher.
- Outstanding payments will be invoiced. In case of non-payment after a reminder, debt collection procedures may follow.
4. Vouchers
- Vouchers may be redeemed for all services offered by GemNails.
- They are valid until the date stated and cannot be extended beyond expiry.
- No cash payout or refund of unused balances is possible.
- GemNails assumes no liability for lost or stolen vouchers.
- Not combinable with other discounts or promotions.
- Delivery: On request, vouchers can be mailed at the purchaser’s expense. Dispatch will only take place after payment has been received. To speed up processing, proof of payment may be submitted via email or social media. Vouchers are also available directly at the Studio.
5. Warranty & Complaints
- We provide a 7-day warranty for nail services (extension with gel/acrylic) covering technical defects caused by the Studio (e.g. lifting, breakage, chipping).
- No warranty is offered for damage caused by external impact, improper aftercare, self-manipulation, or naturally weak nails.
- Complaints must be reported within 24 hours after treatment so that we can assess and provide a solution (e.g. correction, additional treatment, or replacement).
- Refunds are excluded; justified complaints will be remedied free of charge.
6. Right to Refuse Service
The Studio may refuse treatment in the following cases:
- Health conditions such as infections, nail inflammation, or skin diseases
- Clients under the influence of alcohol or drugs
- Inappropriate behavior or lack of personal hygiene
7. Client Obligations
- Clients must disclose relevant health conditions, allergies, or sensitivities prior to treatment.
- The Studio cannot be held liable for adverse effects if such information was withheld.
- Clients are responsible for their personal belongings during their stay.
8. Media & Marketing
With client consent, the Studio may take photos or videos of treatments for marketing purposes (website, social media, print material). Images will not reveal the client’s identity unless expressly agreed.
9. Validity
These General Terms & Conditions apply as of 30.08.2025 and may be updated at any time. The latest version is available on our website and at the Studio reception.
